Description
Fused glass round hand-painted common blue butterfly suncatcher on cobalt blue background.
Each butterfly is created as a glass wafer, fired and painted before being fused to the background which is created using powdered glass
The common blue butterfly is one of my favourites and can be seen on many of my pieces.
These suncatchers are individually cut, drilled and ground, resulting in an organic circular shape and dragonflies are individually painted, so will vary slightly from the photos. Changing light and time of day will give this piece a range of different appearances.
