Description
Fused glass curved free-standing hand-painted oak leaves and acorns autumn panel with light orange background, inspired by the beautiful Somerset woodland near Frome.
The panel looks especially effective in front of a light source it and, being curved, you could place a tea light behind it. The appearance and colours of this piece vary according to the light and time of day.
I created an original design for this piece, using an English oak branch which I found on a walk with my dog. I started with a clear piece of glass and coloured this lightly with pumpkin orange glass powder and fired it for the first time. Then I added the colouring of the leaves and acorns using enamel glass paint and fired it again. Finally I added black enamel paint to outline the design and fired the piece once more.

Stunning... I bought this for my wife fro Christmas(2018) as a surprise. On a windowsill it looks beautiful and changes with the weather and time of day. It would look equally stunning on a shelf with a light behind it but in natural daylight the colours and shading shine through. Very quick delivery from a courteous and friendly seller.
